Watch Lizzie Mini #1 Production has officially begun on The Lizzie Borden Documentary Project, and the first Lizzie Borden offering from Garden Bay Films has been released today on YouTube. Covering a recent tribute to pharmacist Eli Bence at Fairhaven's Riverside Cemetery, this mini is narrated by Shelly Dziedzic and filmed by Richard Behrens.

This site has been built over the past two years by Richard Behrens of Garden Bay Films to highlight the life and work of piano player Cy Walter. Richard has had the pleasure of working directly with Cy's family to preserve the legacy of this very unique musician. Garden Bay Films is currently planning a documentary about Cy which is scheduled for 2009 release.

Richard Behrens' original fiction The Case of the Purloined Curio: A Lizzie Borden Girl Detective Mystery has been published by the Hatchet: The Journal of Lizzie Borden Studies. Also in the same issue is an article Richard wrote about Carrie Nation. The Hatchet is a great bi-monthly by Stefani Koorey and Kat Koorey that publishes excellent scholarly essays and creative fiction about Lizzie Borden and related subjects.
